Elderflower Tincture

Elderflower as well as her berry is an age old herb which has been used for centuries for supporting and strengthening the body's immune system. 

Not only do they both shine as a preventative but they are commonly used to help fight off cold and flu viruses. Both are strong anti-viral herbs and are favourites amongst both children and adults.

Now where Elderflower differs is she is great for supporting healthy sinuses. With her anti-catarrhal properties she may help to reduce and stop runny noses, that blocked up and deafness you get from too much mucus in the sinuses. Elderflower may be really helpful for those that are prone to chronic sinusitis.

Elderflower Tincture is a made using the method of extraction of the herb in alcohol. It is very different from our delicious syrup and it is elderflower in a far more potent form.

I love to keep tinctures on hand always as part of my first aid kit as they are convenient to travel with, have a long shelf life and do not need to be kept refrigerated.
